DETROIT (Tell Us Det) – For the second season in a row Detroit Eastern Market Tuesdays will return. The success of last seasons “Tuesdays” has allowed the community to gather once again and enjoy over 50 vendors.

The market will have a focus on Michigan, and locally produced items. Metro-Detroit residents now have another day to gather at Eastern Market and shop with the community. Compared to the lively Saturday Market “Tuesdays” will be a smaller version. But attendees can still find their favorite items. Shed 2 will be filled with farmers, flowers, produce dealers, specialty products, and prepared food vendors. Some of the vendors are Saturday favorites, but some will have a Tuesday only appearance.

Tuesday’s Market will also be extended later into the harvest season. Markets will run from July 10 to October 30 each Tuesday and be open from 11am-6pm. To embrace the gathering vibe a wide variety of events will also be in place for “Tuesdays”. Events include cooking demonstrations by Gourmet Everyday, free community yoga and zumba classes, Kidney Foundation youth nutrition workshops and much more. During the last Tuesday of every month Detroit’s original food truck meet-up “Truck Stop” will take place as well.

Detroit Eastern Market Tuesdays will take place in Shed 2 on Russell St. between Winder and Adelaide.
