Royal Oak Retailers to offer 50% Off merchandise during 2012 Ford Arts Beats and Eats

 Participating retailers will discount select items in stores 50 percent to celebrate festival
ROYAL OAK, MI – Downtown Royal Oak will be the place to be for shopaholics during Labor Day Weekend as Ford Arts, Beats & Eats today announced it has partnered with many downtown retailers for a special promotion during this year’s festival, August 31 – September 3.
 Beginning on the first day of the festival through Labor Day, participating downtown Royal Oak retailers will offer customers 50 percent off of select items at its stores. The promotion gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy Ford Arts, Beats & Eats as well as other entertainment and business establishments just outside of the festival footprint.
 “This is a great opportunity for local businesses in Royal Oak to get involved with the festival and engage with the hundreds of thousands of guests expected at this year’s Ford Arts, Beats & Eats,” said Gary Baglio, president of the Royal Oak Association of Retailers and owner of Five15 Media, Mojo and More on South Washington Avenue in Royal Oak. “This promotion is certain to increase the already significant economic impact of the festival on downtown Royal Oak.”
