DETROIT, MI (Tell Us Det) – BravoBravo! 2012 and The Downtown Hoe Down were just two of many things to do on a summer like Friday evening in Detroit. BravoBravo showcasing Detroit’s top restaurants, bars and music in support of Michigan Opera Theatre, played to a full house of the metro area’s Jet Set, while Comerica Park hosted the 30th Downtown Hoedown for all the country and western music fans.

BravoBravo! packed three levels of the Detroit Opera House Friday night, including the Opera House stage, and an amazing outdoor entertainment space with more than 40 restaurateurs, beverage companies, corporate sponsors, in-kind donors and musicians for a fun-filled night! There was something for everyone and there is nothing like it in town during the spring season.

The 2012 Downtown Hoedown marks the festival’s 30th Anniversary! Bringing hundreds of thousands of people in downtown Detroit, participating in 3 days of country life-style music and entertainment, this year is the biggest ever and is expected to surpass all the rest with over 50 artists taking to the stage, including local Detroit artists and many of country music’s biggest national stars! Not surprisingly, many artists have gotten their big break at the Downtown Hoedown, namely Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Montgomery Gentry, Big & Rich, just to name a few. Check out our “Hall of Fame” to see the complete list of Hoedown performers! Be sure to come on down June 8th, 9th and 10th, 2012 to see the next generation of country stars shine at the Hoedown!

No need to stay home this weekend. Put on your cowboy boots and come on down!
